I love Orochimaru! and this picture really captures the mood allways present in the scenes with him... well, at least for me it does. You know... somewhat mysterious and definitely dark. Seeming calm and quiet but with a hint of what lies beneath that smooth surface.

in short: I really like it, and I think it captures his charakter (and his coolness <3 ) very well.
And for the too-friendly-aspect: I don't think so. The lips perhaps seem a bit curled up into a slight smile. But I think the eyes show actually no sign of friendliness!
Oh and last but not least: I really like the perspective! Looks even sexier than usually, glancing up like this.
